on-site by Lone Star Shredding and Document Storage.This event is held
twice a year in April and October and is free to the public.

to Shred Day this time, Computer Crusher from Denton, Texas, will be on
site to collect electronics including CRT monitors, computers,oil hose software, batteries, telecom, Artificial animal
satellite TV equipment, and much more for recycling at their warehouse.
Certified by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, they take
pride in the hundreds of thousands of tons of e-waste that is kept out
of landfills annually.
All
equipment that comes into their facility is weighed, categorized and
assigned a lot number. This lot ID tracks the equipment as it moves

that potentially can be reused is slated for further testing by their
personnel. Reuse, whenever possible is always a more eco friendly
process than recycling. Sometimes even though the equipment is

has truly reached end of life. This equipment is then fully dismantled
by hand. All components are then sorted and prepped for proper
